More than paperwork

The practical details.
The personal things.

From the account nobody knows about to the words you want them to hear. Give the people you love a place to start.

Important documents

Keep copies of the paperwork your people may need, together in one place.

Personal messages

Leave a note, a story, or a few words that only you could write.

Passwords & access

Pass on the access details that could otherwise be difficult to find.

Account details

Help your trustees know which accounts exist and where to begin.

A simple rhythm of reassurance

You live your life.
We ask you to check in.

TYSK uses a dead man’s switch: a series of missed check-ins triggers sharing with your trustees.

The TYSK approach · 01 / 03

One place for
“just so you know.”

A document. A password. A message from the heart. Bring the things you’d like to pass on together, before they’re needed.

Thoughtful preparation starts with one thing.
The things only you can say
“If you’re reading this,
there are a few things
I’d like you to know.”

An example of the kind of message you could leave.

Your people. Your choice.

A little less searching.
A little more certainty.

At a difficult time, even the smallest detail can help. TYSK gives your chosen trustees the information you wanted them to have, without leaving them to piece everything together.

You decide who your trustees are, and whether to let them know when you name them.
A few things to know

Thoughtful questions.
Clear answers.

What is TYSK?

TYSK stands for Things You Should Know. It’s an upcoming iOS app for storing documents, personal messages, passwords and account details that you’d like shared with one or more chosen people after you die.

How does the check-in system work?

You receive a reminder every one to three months to check in. TYSK uses a dead man’s switch: several missed check-ins trigger the release of your stored information to your trustees. The release trigger is missed check-ins, rather than independent confirmation of a death.

Does missing one check-in release my information?

No. The process is designed around several missed check-ins, rather than a single missed reminder. The exact timing and release sequence will be explained in the app.

Will my trustees know I’ve chosen them?

That’s your choice. Trustees may be informed when you add them, or you can choose not to notify them at that point. You can name one or more trustees.

Can I download TYSK yet?

TYSK is coming soon to the iOS App Store. A download link will be available here once the app launches.

A small act today. A meaningful gift someday.

Because “they’ll figure it out”
isn’t quite a plan.

Leave the important things in a place your people can turn to.
